Different paths led us to Student Media, but Student Media has connected us for life. After working together in the advertising department, both of us have used the same traits to start successful careers in very different fields.

Aaron works in the employee benefits industry at UnumProvident, the world's largest disability insurance carrier. Much the same way that Student Media deals with clients on Campus Corner, he works with and develops partnerships across the city of Houston.

Claire is with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a nonprofit organization. She utilizes her creativity and relationship building skills, most of which developed designing ads, overcoming sales objections and working with a large client base at The Oklahoma Daily.

Student Media taught us how to handle pressure, deal effectively with clients, and use our creative strengths - all a great springboard into the real world. Our early professional career experience with Student Media gave us a competitive edge during the job search, which was priceless. We wouldn't be where we are today if it wasn't for Student Media ... not to mention we probably wouldn't have ever met!
